A great game for young and old. Counting up to twelve is practiced in a playful way. At the beginning, all numbers point upwards. The goal of the game is to turn over as many numbers as possible. Then both dice are thrown. For example, if 3 and 6 are thrown, you may:

8 and 1 or
7 and 2 or
6 and 3 or
5 and 4 are reversed.
Only one or two numbers may be turned over at a time. The same player continues throwing until either all numbers have been turned over or he can no longer fold up. Now it can be noted how many numbers are still open, or the numbers can be added up and the points of this can be written down. The winner is the one who either had the fewest numbers open or the one with the lowest score.

This variant allows two players to play at the same time, which is very interesting because you can of course react to the same duplicated numbers in different ways.
