PETA's Dual Control Teaching Scissors were developed in collaboration with occupational therapists to teach children how to cut, step by step. These therapeutic practice scissors are ideal for children with poor hand-eye coordination, limited hand strength, or difficulty positioning the scissors correctly.

The unique double loop system enables guided learning:
- the child places the fingers in the back loops
- the parent, teacher or therapist uses the front loops
- together you direct and dose your power and direction

In this way, the child experiences the opening and closing movement of scissors, while the adult subtly supports placement, strength and control.
