Ten different wooden cylinders with tactile surfaces and a corresponding solid wood board with the same reliefs.
For visually impaired and blind individuals, this is a challenge because the tactile contrasts (differences in touch perception) are less distinct. However, if a child has already progressed further and finds it crucial in daily life to be able to clearly perceive and distinguish different structures by touch, then this version is ideally suited for them.
The visual differences are also minimal, which is an additional challenge for the visually impaired.
Initially with open eyes, later possibly blindfolded, your child can place the cylinders one by one in the correct place on the board.
