Rest in motion — a fascinating spectacle with a playful twist
This liquid runner in the shape of a double diamond is a special variation on the classic hourglass. Instead of sand, colored oil slowly drips down, while in the upper and lower reservoir a small animal 'swims' in the water.
As soon as you turn the runner, the play of the drops begins: the oil drops fall slowly and loosely down, but gradually form larger clumps. At the same time, the animal at the top slowly sinks down, while the animal at the bottom gradually gets a bottom. This slow process has a calming effect and helps children (and adults) to come to themselves for a moment.
Duration: between 3 and 4.5 minutes
