A dog you can pull, knead and stretch without it running away?
The stretchy dog provides funny sensory play fun and wonderful tactile input for curious hands.
It is made of sturdy rubber and filled with fine sand. This makes it feel pleasantly heavy and flexible at the same time. Children can knead it, push it, pull it and deform it into all sorts of funny shapes. Stretching it out and trying to shape it back is what makes playing challenging, funny and relaxing at the same time.
While playing, children unconsciously practice strength regulation and hand awareness. How hard do you push? How much force do you use to pull or knead? The resistance of the material provides immediate sensory feedback, which helps in learning to regulate movements and muscle strength.
