Roll dice, calculate and close together!
With Shut the Box for 4 players , math becomes truly fun ! Everyone plays simultaneously on their own box, but the dice are shared. This means thinking, clever calculations, and careful planning – because who will be the first to close their numbers?
At the beginning, all numbers are open. The dice are rolled, for example, 4 and 5. Now you can choose:
- 9
- 8 and 1
- 7 and 2
- 6 and 3
- 5 and 4

You can flip one or two numbers at a time. Players keep rolling until no more combinations are possible. Then the remaining numbers are added up: whoever has the lowest score wins the round!

In the four-player version, you play not only against yourself, but also against each other. This makes the game extra exciting and educational – everyone calculates, thinks ahead, and tries to cleverly combine their numbers.
