Rest in motion — a fascinating spectacle with a playful twist
This double-diamond -shaped liquid hourglass is a unique twist on the classic hourglass. Instead of sand, colored oil slowly drips down, while small creatures "swim" in the water in the upper and lower reservoirs.
As soon as you turn the runner over, the droplets begin to play: the oil droplets fall slowly and loosely, gradually forming larger clumps. Simultaneously, the animal at the top slowly sinks, while the animal at the bottom gradually forms a base. This slow process has a calming effect and helps children (and adults) to calm down for a moment.
