Pull billiards
Pull billiards
- Two-handed
- Eye-hand coordination
The ball is placed on the two bars at the bottom of the game, in front of the player. By pushing the bars together with their handles, the ball is pushed upward. A gentle movement, slightly spreading the bars, gives the ball a small push, and it rolls upward. When it has rolled the furthest, the bars are pulled completely apart, so the ball falls into one of the pockets. This way, players can set their own record or compete against each other.
Benefits and skills practiced:
- Force regulation: The game requires the proper use of force to move the ball. This helps develop good motor skills and force control.
- Patience: The process is quite challenging and therefore requires patience and perseverance.
- Two-handed coordination: Using both hands to move the bars helps improve hand coordination.
- Insight and Strategy: Players must develop an understanding of how the movement of the rods affects the movement of the ball, which helps develop strategic thinking.
So this game not only offers entertainment, but also a good way to practice and improve various motor and cognitive skills.
Playing tip: also a fun tool for open-ended play with other balls and marbles.
