Comparison and advantages of working with the lemniscate part 2

Child coach and mother
My top students were allowed to test two more lemniscates for Toys for two hands / Toys42hands to train the cooperation of both brain hemispheres.
This is also great practice material.
Lemniscate equation
Lying eight
The blue version requires less concentration and skill, making it very suitable for younger children. My children found this the easiest of the 4 lemniscates they tested.
Endless eight
The blue/yellow variant requires a lot of concentration, focus and skill. My kids find this the most difficult but therefore also a challenge.
Working with the lemniscate
Lemniscaat trains both hemispheres of the brain
By regularly practicing a lemniscate (lying figure 8), both hemispheres of the brain will work better together and the 'weaker' hemisphere of the brain will participate more .
Coordination of the eyes and crossing visual midline
It helps stimulate the coordination of the eyes in continuously crossing the visual midline .
While the eyes follow the flowing movement of the hands, the two hemispheres of the brain learn to work well together. Good coordination of the eyes, ears and hands are necessary for learning skills such as reading and writing letters and numbers.
Faster information processing
I have read that the corpus callosum (the 'transmitter' between the left and right hemispheres of the brain) can become larger as the left and right hemispheres have to work together more. The effect of this is: faster information processing in the brain.
Better concentration
It could help with better concentration, more self-confidence, anxiety reduction, more planning and overview, better eye-hand coordination, better physical balance, more peace of mind (for people with HSP and ASD), better connection between the inner and outer world, social-emotional strengthening.
How to draw the lemniscate (lying 8):
Continue to follow the movement with your eyes and start in the middle:
up, left, over, around and back to the center,
cross the center,
to the right, over, down and back to the center
extra practice tips:
• with your left hand, with your right hand, with both hands at the same time
• say the words and directions
• in the air in front of you 'draw' with your finger
In part 1 I compared the motor skills eight bamboo with the endless motor skills trainer! Definitely worth reading if you are still in doubt which lemniscate to choose.
