Oogi suction cup figures for the real fidgeter tested by a real fidgeter!

As you can read in the blog about Tangles, I am a real fidgeter, and the Tangles were in a league of their own - until I got my hands on the Oogi.

When you see the packaging (a transparent box), it seems like a simple toy. What could be so fun and exciting about that?

I discovered that quickly when I picked up the Oogi. The material is very soft! It gives a calm stimulus.

I found the long arms and the suction cups very interesting.

The arms are thin but sturdy and the video I saw on Youtube is not exaggerated: you can really stretch them without them breaking.

I do a lot of "tapping" movements with fidget toys, with rotating movements with the wrist. The Oogi can do all that, and that's fun, because my Bendeez series used to be for that. The Bendeez are also for sale at Toys42Hands.

Oogi's suction cups are really strong and make a nice "plop" sound, which challenges you to do more. If you moisten them slightly, it takes quite a bit of force to pull them off. With 1 or 2 hands? Left or right? That's a fun exercise.

In the past few weeks I have shown the Oogi (small and large model) many places. The library, where it sticks to the books when I have to wait in the lending line. The church, where it attracted a lot of attention from the children and the minister. At my day care, where it makes the break more fun as a fidget object. The Oogi was even on my iPad once when I was watching videos!

The small Oogi fits easily in your pocket. And disappears in a hand. That's very nice.

The big Oogi attracts more attention, and many people want to know what it is, but on the other hand, it is easier to play with.

It would be great if an idea comes up with which the Oogi's can hang on a keycord, for example. So would you like to think about that?

The packaging of the Oogi states that it is not a chewable product. Still, I couldn't resist. It does invite that! I can imagine that it could be dangerous or just a shame, because the Oogi's have really become a part of my extended fidget family.

So except for that one time, I hold it in my hand, not in my mouth.

Oogi's: Welcome to the family!
