Who doesn't know them? And if you don't know them yet, it's high time to get acquainted with these beautiful, versatile, attractive games.

How does it work?
- Choose the challenge you want to complete.
- Make sure the apple is positioned correctly; you can rotate it. (see photo)
- Place the three caterpillars so that they fill the holes in the apple.
- You might also need to bend the caterpillars (differently).

Motor skills and spatial awareness
In my practice, I often see children whose motor skills and/or spatial awareness are not optimally developed. Therefore, I frequently look for materials and games that help train these skills. This SmartGames game is extremely suitable for that. First, they have to rotate the apple so that the combination is correct. The caterpillars can also take on different shapes.
Rebuilding
With this game, you place caterpillars on an apple. The apple has a certain pattern (depending on the combination of numbers and letters to be formed). The caterpillars must then be placed in these holes. In the first level, you get quite a few tips (color, shape), but the further you progress, the less information is given. There are three flexible caterpillars that must be placed on the apple in the correct shape.

Applicability
Apple Twist, like most other Smart Games, is a game to be played individually.
Cheerful colors
It looks very appealing and cheerful.
Executive functions
Multiple executive functions are addressed.
- Planning: what do I need to consider, correct caterpillar, correct shape
- Spatial awareness: from 2D to 3D
- Visual perception: carefully observe which hole the caterpillar's head should be in and build and rotate from there
- Problem-solving thinking: you need to devise a plan to accurately replicate the structure, where do you start? which caterpillar do I start with? which one next? how do I place the caterpillars? how should they be bent?
- Emotion regulation: staying calm and trying different approaches
- Perseverance: do you give up easily? Because it's harder than it initially seems
