Learning Cutting Skills

What a fun new addition these Hungry cutters are! I got started with my two little helpers today. 😍
Visual Stimulus
What a great additional visual stimulus for a good scissor grip, cutting strategy, and paper handling! The figure indicates that the paper should go deep into the mouth of the scissors; the mouth of the crocodile or the back of the rocket, etc. Closing motion
It also promotes a good closing motion and the advancement of the scissors through the paper.
And then the most important thing; this side of the scissors must be on top; otherwise the figure is hidden. Handy for both right and left-handed scissors! I'm a fan!
If you want to read more about learning to cut, here is another interesting blog from me. :)
Hungry cutters can be ordered as a set for right or left-handed use, in packs of 10, or individually.
