Stubbornly confusing d and b

Some subjects have already been given a lot of thought. Via Facebook I called on people to share their ideas about the question: what do you do with children who persistently confuse d and b ? A recurring theme in learning the alphabet, in children with dyslexia or automation problems. Because every child is different and thinks differently, the same method does not work for everyone. Look closely at the child, see what fits his way of learning, of information processing and if necessary let the child think along.
A home made mnemonic is still the best ;)
1. On the Pinterest page of a group 4 teacher I found this beautiful picture of big buttocks
In the comments, another idea:
"The elephant's fat buttocks. Also nice with the song; "they can say what they want"."
But the call on Facebook also yielded results:
2. Exercise therapist Marieke sends this photo:
Lazy 8 practice , with d on the left and b on the right and then indeed name them.
3. " The hands form the letters . Good reminder for my sons." writes Sabine.
4. And Marjon van Oefentherapie Hoogezand writes for the abstract thinker: "When you approach this abstractly , the stem of the reading letters is on the left (b) or right (d) and for the writing letters the loop of b is on the left and the stem of d is on the right . This only works when left and right are used correctly."
5. In the sensorimotor area you can work with tactile letters . Then use sandpaper letters or have the letters made with clay.
Do you have any ideas? I'd love to hear them!
