Let's get straight to the point. I love foam! And fortunately my children and the children in my practice do too.
Foam is so versatile that it can always be used.
Foam comparison
There are many different types and it is useful to know what to choose when it comes to the goal you want to achieve.
What do they have in common?
They all have one thing in common, it is wonderful to feel with. You can use it in the bath or in the shower, but it is also great to feel and smear at the table above a bowl. Done playing? You can easily rinse it off under the tap.
Shaumi
First of all, the foam from Schaumi. I have no idea what clouds feel like, but if I had to describe it, this foam definitely comes close. It is very light, super soft and adapts to the room temperature. This foam is perfect when you want to relax for a while. Because it has a firm structure, you can already have great fun with a little bit of foam. It floats well on water, so if it falls? No problem, you can easily pick it up again.
Shock foam
For the real thrill seekers I would choose Shock. This foam was tried at home with much amazement and loud cheering. The foam is very cold, crackles and feels a bit slimy. Wonderful to feel. After playing with the foam for a few minutes your hands tingle all over. Ideal when a lot of input is needed. There are different colours and scents and it may take some searching to find which one suits your child or client best.
Tubi bath foam
Where Schaumi is white in color, the Tubi Bath Foam has a nice color. That is why it also appeals to the visual imagination. This foam is slightly less firm than that of Schaumi, but wonderfully soft and has a neutral scent. You can also add this foam to slime for an extra soft experience.
The nice thing about this foam is that you can combine the colours with each other. Perfect for doing hand or finger exercises. It takes a while for a new colour to form, so enough time to repeat the exercises.
Conclusion
In my opinion a must-have in the bathroom and in the practice room. Perfect as a gift to relax or to challenge.
